Physiotherapy Department at CHS celebrating the world physical therapy day 24.Sept.2012
In line with this year’s World Physical Therapy Day theme, “Movement for Health – Fit for life” and as part of the ongoing activities of the Emirates Physiotherapy Society for PhysioMonth 2012, Department of Physiotherapy at the College of Health Sciences organized a series of lectures and activities. On the 24th of September, from 12:00-3:00 pm in M9- Al Bayrouni Hall, physiotherapy faculty members spoke about different aspects of movement including its development, impact on cardiovascular health, ergonomics at work, and physiotherapy in general. Students also conducted a variety of activities around this theme including, Measurements for: fitness , balance, and respiratory capacity. They also provided advices linked to posture, exercise and ergonomics.
