Welcome to the College of Engineering website.  Established in 1997, the College of Engineering is currently one of the largest colleges in the University of Sharjah, with established undergraduate and graduate programs recognised nationally and internationally and accredited by various accreditations bodies, including the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET,, the American Board of Engineering and Technology.


About 3000 students are currently enrolled in the college's undergraduate and graduate programs.  The College offers 8 Bachelor of Science programs in various disciplines, including: civil engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, computer engineering, architectural engineering, industrial engineering and engineering management, renewable and sustainable energy engineering, mechanical engineering and nuclear engineering.  The College offers, in addition, Master of Science programs in civil engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, computer engineering, and engineering management and a PhD program in engineering management.


In the wake of the challenges that are reshaping engineering education, the College of Engineering is focusing on quality and excellence in designing and delivering its educational programs.  The College of Engineering places a strong emphasis on attracting and retaining outstanding faculty and staff trained in the best universities in the world.  Our College has also excellent, state-of-the-art lecture halls and laboratories, and is rapidly building its research facilities to meet the national and regional needs.


The College is committed to building close relationships between faculty, students, alumni, and employers as part of its endeavor to continuously assess and improve its academic programs inline with international accreditation standards.
