I am very
happy to welcome you to our college website. It gives me great pleasure to lead
the College of Medicine as I work together with faculty and our students to
bring the college to the forefront of medical schools in the region.

centre of excellence in teaching,
medical research and clinical training. We aim to graduate doctors who are
competitive, innovative, knowledgeable, passionate and caring.
a problem-based learning (PBL) system, which allows students exposure to
clinical medicine early in their studies. We also encourage our students to be
involved in clinical and basic research and expect them to not only excel as
physicians but also as scientists with the ability to contribute to furthering
our knowledge, particularly in disease-related fields relevant to our
Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler
of Sharjah, and President of the University of Sharjah, and Professor Hamid
M.K. Al Naimiy, Chancellor of the University, have made available to the
college abundant resources so that we may continue the story of success that
was started in 2006.
We provide a
warm environment for students from different nationalities and all the necessary
tools to accommodate them. We further do our best to provide them with the
necessary means to succeed. The MOUs that
we have signed with various well-known international universities include
faculty exchange and program collaboration and allow our students to complete
their electives (clinical and research) off campus to gain diverse experiences.
Most of our
graduates are currently in residency programs in and outside the UAE. We invite
our graduates to keep in touch with our college and are in the process of
establishing a cohesive alumni program and events for our college graduates. We
advocate an open door policy and our main objective is to build trust between faculty
members and students.
