Admission Requirements for the Bridging Programs: 

1- College of Heath Sciences (Nursing, and Medical Diagnostic Imaging majors):

• Students carrying a general secondary high school certificate or its equivalency obtained before the diploma will have their diploma grades calculated instead of their secondary certificate grades.
• Students having obtained a diploma (2 or 3-year diplomas) must have a GPA of at least 70% or a letter grade of (C) according to program requirements. For admissions to the Bridging Program in Nursing, applicants must have obtained a 3-year diploma in Nursing.
• Diplomas must be accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the UAE.
• Students must obtain a score of 500 or above on the UOS Institutional TOEFL or its equivalent (International TOEFL). For more details, please view the Admission Tests section.
• Students obtaining a specialized diploma with a GPA of less than 70% (ranging from 60-69%) or a letter grade of (D), and meeting the conditions for admission above, may be admitted on the following conditions:
• The study load should be no more than 6-12 credit hours and up to 13 credit hours (if one of the courses is 4 credit hours or one of the credit hours is a lab hour) by permission of the Dean of the College.
• Students are required to obtain a GPA of at least 2.00 on a semesterly basis. Otherwise, they will be dismissed from the University.

2- College of Business Administration (Accounting, Business Administratio, Management Information Systems, Finance):

• Students carrying a general secondary high school certificate, or its equivalency, obtained before the diploma will have their diploma grades calculated instead of their secondary certificate grades.
• Students must have obtained a 3-year diploma accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the UAE, with a minimum GPA of 3.3 according to program requirements.
• The applicant’s degree must have been obtained within a minimum of 3 years from the date of graduation from the diploma program.
• Students are accepted into the program according to their respective fields.
• Students are required to obtain a score of 500 or above on the UOS Institutional TOEFL or its equivalent (International TOEFL).For more details please view the Admission Tests section.
