Students in the Community College Visit Heritage Village in Dibba Al-Hisn

As a part of its student and community activities, the Student Activities Department in the Community College in Dibba Al-Hisn organized a visit to ‘Heritage Village’ on the corniche in Dibba Al-Hisn during Sharjah Heritage Days.
The students (female) took a tour of the village and learned about various sections of the village including the vineyards, agricultural, mountain and sea areas and others. They also enjoyed a number of displays including displays of old coins, early electronic devices, books, and a number of crafts and early trades such as embroidery, folk medicine, mat making, preparing incense, perfume, and henna, cooking by fire, irrigation, fishing and other trades. The purpose of the visit was to expose students from a new generation to the values, customs and special traditions of the UAE.
