Role in the University of Khartoum and Higher Education in Sudan

  • Developed the Self Evaluation, Quality Enhancing and Accreditation Administration,
  • Initiated a world trade multi-disciplinary master program and a distant learning course in intellectual property with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
  • Established new departments and colleges, such as Faculty of Geography and Environment, Faculty of Distance Learning and Khartoum University Private College.
  • Founded the radio station (FM 93.3) to extend the services of the University to the community.
  • Proposed Research Chairs in different colleges.
  • Enhanced Donation Campaigns for the financial support of the University of Khartoum.
  • Initiated the Higher Education Network of all Sudanese Universities.
  • Founded the evaluation and funding of research proposals for all Sudanese higher education institutes.
  • Initiated of the Planning Department for the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
  • Established training programmes for training of trainee in different Sudanese universities in the Capital and other regions of the country.
  • Team leader for many task forces for problem solving, imitation or strategy development for the ministry of Higher Education for issues dealing with admission, quality assurance, Accreditation, training, strategic planning and leadership in higher education.
