Dr. Salah Taher, Vice Chancellor for Community Affairs at the University of Sharjah received a delegation from the Student Exchange and Recruitment Section at the Dubai Police General Headquarters led by Major Dr. Mansoor Hassan Ali Al Blooshi, Director of the Section in the General Department of Human Resources at the Dubai Police General Headquarters. The aim of the MoU is to explore and enhance cooperation between the two parties in areas of students exchange and recruitment from the third or fourth academic years in the scientific, artificial intelligence, creativity and innovation, and criminal sciences fields. In addition to recruiting students through organizing joint exhibits, and entering the students' data into a smart electronic platform to simplify the process of collecting their data.
For his part, Dr. Salah Taher expressed interest in starting work on this MoU by linking the students' graduation projects with the demands of the job market and examining their ability to join ongoing projects and market certain projects in various disciplines. He added that the University of Sharjah has a comprehensive database containing all the information related to its alumni and their programs to simplify the process of providing jobs and recruitment.
