The University of Sharjah and the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department celebrated the graduation of the second and third batches from the Professional Diploma in Real Estate program. The program is offered by the Center for Continuing Education and Professional Development at the University and includes a total of 135 training hours for each batch and included 50 trainees from various real estate agencies in Sharjah.
Prof. Hamid M.K. Al Naimiy, Chancellor of the University of Sharjah, attended the graduation ceremony along with Mr. Abdulaziz Rashid Al Saleh, Director of the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, Prof. Radhi Al Zubaidi, Director of the Center for Continuing Education and Professional Development; as well as faculty members and graduates from the Professional Diploma in Real Estate program.
In his speech the Chancellor of the University of Sharjah welcomed the attendees and expressed his joy and pride for graduating the second and third batches of the Professional Diploma in Real Estate program. He stressed the significance of the programs in light of the UAE's progress and great expansion in real estate development and investment. He added that His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, President of the University of Sharjah, established the University as a national development project that works to serve and benefit the local community by offering many accredited programs by the Ministry of Education. In addition, 40% of the programs offered at the University have been given international accreditation, which contributed to making the University of Sharjah one of the largest universities in the UAE in terms of the number of programs it offers and enrolled students.
For his part, Prof. Al Zubaidi stated that the program works to introduce the legal work environment of governing the real estate market and the substance of real estate brokerage and valuation as well as introducing owners' unions and the methods of dealing with their real estate and legal disputes. He also stressed that the programs focuses on real estate management by studying its economics, market analysis, and approaches to real estate investment and development.
