Dr. Jacques-Antoine Hennekinne: Head of Microbiological Unit – of the French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety, France

Dr. Hennekinne is the Head of Microbiological Unit – of the French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety, France. He manages microbiological units dedicated to food borne pathogens producing toxins (Staphylococci, Bacilli, and Clostridia) and to milk activity. This unit is reference laboratory at French and European levels for coagulase positive staphylococci and milk and milk based products.

He currently manages the CEN/ISO working group dedicated to standardization of horizontal method for staphylococcal enterotoxin detection and takes part in various research programs at both French and European levels. He also conducts microbiological audits according to EN ISO 17025.
