The Commission for Academic Accreditation is the Federal Government's Quality Assurance Agency charged with promoting educational excellence across diverse institutions of higher learning in the UAE. Through licensure of post-secondary educational institutions, and accreditation of individual programs, the Commission strives to assure high quality education, consistent with international standards. International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF)
The International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF) is the conceptual framework that

organizes authoritative guidance promulgated by The IIA. A trustworthy, global, guidance setting

body, The IIA provides internal audit professionals worldwide with authoritative

guidance organized in the IPPF as mandatory guidance and recommended guidance. The

updated Framework was introduced in July 2015.

Compliance Policies

Policies establish a framework and set standards

that guide us how we should conduct ourselves

as a member of the University community. This

includes how we should perform our jobs, make

decisions, interact with one another and perform or manage the operations and activities of the University in order to achieve the strategic goals set by the Board of Trustees. Each department may issue its own policies and procedures, which follow these policies and procedures in addition to following:

• Code of Conduct

• Standards of Integrity

• Confidentiality and Privacy

• Conflict of Interest

• Human Resources

• Third Party Relationships

• Use of University Resources

• Retaliation Prohibition Policy

• Fair Employment Practices
