Health Insurance
As part of the visa laws, all students must have health insurance for the duration of their student visa. The UOS has partnered with Al Buhaira insurance company to provide a comprehensive and competitively priced medical insurance plan.

This scheme is compulsory for student visa sponsored students and optional for non-sponsored students. It provides round the clock coverage for expenses incurred by students in a network of hospitals and clinics in the UAE, whether as an outpatient, inpatient or emergency admission.

Please note that the UOS visa-sponsored students will receive medical insurance cover after the visa is issued, the student has attended their medicals and the visa is stamped in the passport. In the interim, students will have to arrange their own health insurance.
