Transportation Unit


The Transportation Unit offers transportation services through a modern and comfortable bus fleet. This unit is keen on adhering to punctuality and safety for students and staff members. It is responsible for providing vehicles and drivers, having the vehicles maintained on a regular basis and when there are contingent cases. This unit satisfies all transportation needs for the university, thus contributing to the successful progress of this institution.

Services offered by the Transportation Unit:
1)      This unit offer transport services on a regular basis for staff members from Sharjah and Ajman.

  • Sharjah:
    • Male staff members: Jamal Abdulnaser, Rola and Qasimiya areas
    • Female staff members: Maliha, Jamal Abdulnaser and Rola areas
  • Ajman: Male and female staff members
2)      Buses take students from their dormitory to colleges daily according to a schedule upon which a bus leaves every ten minutes.
3)      In-campus faculty members are also served by this unit. They can travel from their housing units to their respective colleges.
4)      Providing transport services to Sharjah and Dubai international airports only for dormitory-residing students. These services are available around the clock.
5)      Providing weekly shopping services for on-campus faculty and students at different shopping centers in accordance with certain schedules.
6)      Providing 24/7 transport services for emergencies for female students residing in the dormitory to be taken to hospitals and clinics outside the campus upon the request of the Dormitory Administration.
7)      Providing car travel for university guests upon coordination with relevant departments.
