User Education Program is designed to keep faculty, students and staff abreast of the latest information resources and enable them to search, find, retrieve, evaluate and make effective use of information resources in the changing information world.
User Education Program consists of :
The library is offering the Current Awareness Service in various means, such as,
- The Table of Contents of recently received periodicals at the library are e-mailed to the faculty according to their periodicals' selection.
- A "New Arrivals" list includes the recently acquired books in one month, is published on the library homepage regularly.
- Regular library updates are e-mailed to faculty and students, to promote new electronic resources and web resources and to explain procedures on how to access and search the resources
- Video Tutorials, Brochures and User Guide outlining collection and services, are distributed on users.
