UOS is member of American Society for Clinical Pathology

Dr. Samir Awadallah, Associate Professor and Chair of Medical Laboratory Technology Department in the College of Health Sciences at the University of Sharjah, was appointed as representative member for the UAE on the Consultative Council for the American Society for Clinical Pathology.

The appointment of Consultative Council’s members is based upon professional and scientific experience in addition to contributions and research conducted. Dr. Samir Awadallah is a specialist in the field of Clinical Chemistry.  He received his doctorate degree in Clinical Chemistry from the University of Salford in the UK.

The Consultative Council of the American Society for Clinical Pathology is responsible for supervising related international examinations for applicants, particularly graduates of Medical Laboratory Technology.
