UAE National Day Celebrations at UOS

UOS students expressed their joy and happiness and participated in a variety of cultural and traditional activities during the University of Sharjah’s celebrations for the 38th UAE National Day that was opened by Prof. Eng. Samy A. Mahmoud, Chancellor of University of Sharjah (UOS), and Vice Chancellors Prof. Salim Sabri, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Prof. Mohammed Husam Al Din Hamdi, Vice Chancellor for the Medical Colleges and Dean of College of Medicine, Dr. Salah Taher Al Haj, Vice Chancellor for Community Affairs and Dr. Mohammed Ismail, Vice Chancellor for Administration and Financial Affairs.

In attendance were Prof. Abdallah El- Mneizel, Dean of Student Affairs (Men) and Acting Dean of Student Affairs (Women), Mrs. Ahlam Bin Jarsh from Women's Student Affairs, College Deans, Directors of UOS centers and departments, faculty, and staff, in addition to parents and relatives of UOS  students who came to celebrate this occasion. The celebrations were held at both the women's and men's Students Centers and all over the campus, and were organized by the University’s student unions, societies and cultural clubs.
