Admitted Students at UOS

H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah and the Supreme President of University of Sharjah approved the second list of newly admitted students across various colleges at the University of Sharjah for the Fall Semester 2010/2011.

Prof. Eng. Samy A. Mahmoud, Chancellor of the University of Sharjah, stated that the number of newly admitted students meeting specific academic criteria  on the second list of admissions is 789 across various bachelor and diploma programs.

The number of students accepted into various colleges is as follows: (12) in the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies, (35) in the College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences, (80) in the College of Business Administration, (30) in the College of Sciences, (87) in the College of Engineering, (85) in the College of Law, (31) in the College of Health Sciences, (6) in the College of Fine Arts and Design, (74) in the College of Communication, (7) in the College of Pharmacy, (2) in the College of Medicine, and (14) in the College of Dentistry in addition to (326) students in the Community College.

The total number of newly admitted students who have met the admission requirements is 2517out of 3963  who applied to the University.

Classes will commence on  19th September 2010 after a week of advising and registration from 13-9-2010 until 16-9-2010, while the deadline for the add & drop period will be 23-9-2010.
