Appointment of 82 new faculty members at UOS

The Human Resources Department at University of Sharjah (UOS) established a sequence of administrative procedures and  processes to facilitate the induction of 82 new faculty members who have been appointed to the University’s colleges and branches for Fall Semester 2010/2011.

Mr. Saeed Abu Hunood, Acting Director of Human Resources Department, stated that the induction process for new faculty members relies upon representatives from various UOS departments and centers to meet and facilitate the new members'  initial requirements. This concept came as a result of the continuing growth of academic, administrative and service departments in the University.

He added that this process ensures quality and contributes to smooth professional guidance for new members at the University in a way that positively reflects on the educational and academic process.

Prof. Hamid M. Al Naimiy, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College of Sciences, met the new faculty members along with Dr. Nabil Kallas, Dean of Academic Support Services and Eng. Ghasan Badraldeen, Director of Physical Plant.
