Subject: guidelines for extended Abstracts for Publication in the Conference Proceedings
We would like to remind colleagues whose abstracts have been accepted for presentation at the conference (including posters) to send us the extended version of their abstract for inclusion in the conference proceedings, which will be published in a CD or a USB, God's willing.
In preparing the Extended Abstract, please note:
1. The paper has to be within the reviewed and accepted abstracts.
2. The paper should not be more than 6 pages (size A4) or 3000
words, including graphs, tables, etc.
3. The first page should include the title, authors (the presenter should
be the lead author) and affiliation, including corresponding author’s
email address, and a short abstract (no more than ½ page)
4. The font size should be 12 (New Times Roman).
5. Paragraphs should be single spaced.
6. References should be appropriately cited. e.g. Elmehdi, H. M. and Jamal, E.T. 2008, The title of the paper, Vol, pages.
7. The last date for receiving the extended abstracts will be Feb 29, 2008. Because we have prior commitments with the publisher, we will not accept any paper arriving after 12:00 midnight (UAE time) of that day.
8. The papers should be sent camera-ready and they will be published as is. Authors will be responsible for any copyright related issues.
9. To avoid confusion, papers should be sent to the following email address: proceeding.ichs2008@gmail.com
10. The papers will be evaluated by the scientific committee and authors of high quality papers will be contacted and asked to submit a full paper. The paper will then be sent to international reviewers and published in a special issue of the University of Sharjah Journal.
11. Full papers are due on the last day of the conference, i.e. March 27, 2008.
Note : All documents must be submitted in MS-WORD format.
