 Libraries

The University of Sharjah manages the various functional issues of four campus  libraries located respectively in (M2) the Men's Colleges, (W2) the Women's Colleges, the Medical and Health Sciences Colleges complex and the College of Fine Arts and Design. Each library contains a growing collection of different sources formats covering the university's program for study and research. 

The physically separated libraries are fully automated and directly linked to all faculty and university offices through the university network. Such links enable users to search the online library catalog, electronic databases and a range of other resources of information anywhere on campus.

These libraries have grown over the years in response to the growing needs of staff and students. In addition to books, the libraries contain databases on CD’s, Videos, audiotapes and electronic search facilities. They also contain specialized halls, computers laboratories and photocopying and indexing facilities. The library services are open to external students and researchers.

The UOS Libraries are supporting educational process and research through acquiring information resources to fulfill the needs of the university community, including: University’s teaching & administrative staff, University students. The library also provides general guidance, training, and shares experience, for the advancement of these libraries.

  Laboratories

University of Sharjah includes laboratories that serve the educational and research missions of all the colleges in the University particularly the College of Medicine, the College of Pharmacy, the College of Dentistry, the College of Health Sciences in addition to the College of Sciences and the College of Engineering. The central labs are located at buildings M12 and W12 and are fully equipped with advanced technologies, plus laboratories of the Medical and Health Sciences Colleges Complex are located in three buildings; M23, M27 and M28.
