Fine Arts and Calligraphy
The University Painting, Calligraphy and Plastic Arts Center was established as early as the establishment of the University. The Deanship of Student Affairs established this unit in order to develop student artistic talent and encourage those who are talented in the field of art to work together in order to enhance their skills through a general framework of knowledge and build balanced personalities.
These activities and efforts have contributed effectively to the reinforcement of the infrastructure of plastic arts that plays an important role in linking young people to their heritage and promoting the artistic message that enhances the way people confront social and individual issues.
The annual schedule for the Painting unit includes holding an annual exhibition and organizing a plastic arts contest among all universities in the country. The activities of this unit are not only confined to the local level, they go beyond that to the national and international levels.
