How to Apply 
 

Required Documentation

A new student needs to submit filled application form with the required documentation and certificates to the Admission and Registration Department at UOS.

Applicants should submit an application form with the following documentation: 

  1. A copy of the student passport (valid).
  2. A copy of UAE Nationality Identity card for local students.
  3. A copy  of the residence visa for non-local students (valid).
  4. Certified copy of secondary school certificate or its equivalent.
  5. Four recent colored photographs (passport size).
  6. A medical fitness certificate including a blood test (according to the form prepared in the University of Sharjah).
  7. A copy of the health card or insurance card (valid).
  8. A copy of Good Conduct Certificate.
  9. A copy of Birth Certificate.
  10. A copy of National Identity Card.
  11. 300  AED  cash - non-refundable application Fees.

If you are an international student, you need to summit the above ten requirements in addition to below  documents:

  1. Document proves that the student completed 12 years of school.
  2. Document proves that the High School Certificate is accepted by the government universities in the country from which the certificate was obtained

If you are a bridging programs student, you need to summit the above ten requirements in addition to below  documents:

  1. Certified copy of the diploma certificate.
  2. Certified copy of the transcript.
  3. Equivalent certificate for the Diploma  from the Ministry of  Higher Education & Scientific Research in the UAE (for the students who obtain the certificate from outside the UAE).

If you are a transfer student, you need to summit the above ten requirements in addition to below  documents:

  1. Certified copy of the transcript.
  2. Detailed descriptions of the taken courses by student.
  3. University accreditation letter from the  Ministry of  Higher  Education & Scientific Research in the UAE (for students who have obtained their certificates outside the UAE).

Important general notes:

  1. Please note that submitting an application, paying the application fees & receiving the ID number does not mean in any way that an applicant is admitted to the University. Admission is offered after paying a reservation seat fees counted toward his/her tuition account, & it is not refundable in case of his/her withdrawal from the University.
  2. Paying reservation seat fees & satisfying other requirements does not guarantee in any way a final acceptance in the Medicine College and Dentistry College, all applicants will be competing for a limited number of seats available annually in each program.
  3. The student needs to check for his/her admission exams & personal interview dates & results through out the University website.
  4. Admission is valid ONLY for the academic semester for which the applicant applies.
  5. New Students may request a hold on their admission for a maximum of one semester by submitting the Admission Postpone Form to the admission office after fulfilling the required fees.
  6. The University is not responsible for the applications that are given to the sponsors to get a scholarship, and the applicant should follow up with them.
  7. Students who have been denied admission or have not enrolled in the colleges to which they were accepted can reclaim their admission papers only within three months from the date of their application.  
  8. The students lose the right to take any document from their files after submitting the file.
  9. The University does not accept the submission of original High School Certificate
