REQUIREMENTS FOR TRANSFER
The University Admission Office accepts a student’s application to transfer from any other accredited university and college provided from Ministry of Higher Education and Scientifi RESEARCH, IF THE student fulfills the following conditions:
1. Students should have completed successfully at least two semesters or one whole year in a recognized university and his/her academic standing should not be less than Good or 2.50 points out of 4.00 points.
2. He/She should meet the university’s admission criteria and the special requirements of the college to which he/she is to transfer.
3. The university from which the student is transferring must require day attendance, and the student must provide a proof of attendance and should be enrolled in their original academic institution during the semester prior to their transfer.
4. There are available places in the college to which he/she is transferring.
5. The University of Sharjah cannot admit students who were expelled from the university or any other university or college for disciplinary or academic reasons.
6. The College Council may, upon the recommendation of the Department, accept all or some of the courses that the student has completed successfully in the university from which he is transferring, on condition that his final grades in any of them is not less than (C+).
7. The grades, results or averages that a student has received in the accepted courses for transfer will not be counted while calculating his GPA or CGPA in the University.
