Mission
To provide a quality bilingual undergraduate communication program seeking to foster understanding of the vital role of mass communication in society and to prepare students for professional and scholarly careers in communication drawing on Arab-Islamic values and international professional and research standards.
Objectives
- To provide students with basic theoretical perspectives on communication.
- To provide students with professional bilingual media skills and understanding.
- To build up UAE national capabilities in professional media and scholarly careers.
- To enable the University of Sharjah to become a center of excellence in professional media work and scholarship.
- To extend intellectual and professional media services to the UAE community and beyond.
