Mission

The mission of the department of Accounting, Finance and Economics is to provide students with knowledge of the fundamental principles and theories of Accounting, Finance and Economics and equip them with the most up-to-date financial applications. It aims to teach students how to utilize their theoretical knowledge and apply it successfully and ethically in both business and public organizations.

 Objectives

The objectives of the Department of Accounting, Finance and Economics are:

1. To provide academic programs leading to the Bachelor of Science in Accounting and in Finance leading to a professional career in accounting and finance.
2. To conduct research in accounting, finance and economics related areas for the advancement of the field and its professional practice.
3. To serve the community through the offerings of professional training programs to practitioners and others.
4. To provide consultancy services to private and public organizations as well as other needed programs.
