Pharmaceutics A

Introduction

This course contains the basic calculations in pharmacy, methods for the preparation of standard solutions and the basics of Acid, Base and Buffer.

Students run experiments to measure pH and pKa and to measure conductivity using a conductometer. This course supports the theoretical part by applying some experiments on the principle of solubility, the solubility phase diagram and factors that affect solubility.
