HH Sheikh Dr. Sultan’s personal website completion - March 2010
 UOS ITC with vigorous efforts from the Web Services Unit team and the Infrastructure and Operations Section conceptualized, designed, developed and successfully completed the personal website of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah and the Supreme President of the University.

Instructional technologies training campus-wide 2009 / 2010
 Under directives of the Deanship of Academic Support Services, the Academic Computing Services of UOS ITC successfully conducted Instructional Technologies Training campaign to address faculty members across all UOS campuses, included Sharjah colleges and all Community College branches across Fall and Spring 2009 2010 semesters under the program “Enhancing the Faculty Blackboard Experience” to facilitate teaching with technology and provide a conducive e-learning environment.

Banner System Upgrade - Feb 2010
 Banner Project Management and ITC with relentless work by the Management Information Systems Section successfully saw the first upgrade of the Banner system to the 8.1 International product release encapsulating enhancements in student /Faculty self-service by introducing new features, enhance the methodology of managing admission, student records, scheduling and registration, flexibility in administration graduation process, along with several enhancements in the finance and HR modules and much more, in February 2010. The upgrade has been a unique and sophisticated series of activities integrated towards enhancing the Banner platform at UOS.

Infrastructure Storage Upgrade - February 2010
The Infrastructure and Operations team of UOS ITC architected and successfully upgraded the storage backend, supporting all the UOS IT online services, to an advanced level for Disk expansion and higher performance. This marked a milestone in the wider storage upgrade plan for providing better infrastructure support and solutions. |

Telecommunications Services Upgrade - February 2010
Through tedious efforts and design by the telecommunications team , UOS ITC saw the move of the telecommunications infrastructure to a new and current system. The upgrade project was successful and has potential to benefit University of Sharjah Community. |
