The College of Dentistry is running an undergraduate dental program which began in September 2004 and the first batches of dental students are now in the third BDS year. The scientific revolutions have inspired our University to develop a Dental College that can meet the challenges of tomorrow's dentists. Therefore this new program is being developed in collaboration with the University of Adelaide in South Australia with a mission of establishing a Regional Center of Excellence in Dental Education appropriate for the needs of the United Arab Emirates and the region. The College strive to provide a conducive learning environment for students and at the same time instilling appropriate values and ethics necessary in preparing the future graduates to shoulder high community responsibility. We encourage and nurture multicultural education in a highly competitive environment to equip our students with the necessary knowledge, skills and values to face today's era of globalization, education without borders and the power of knowledge for survival. |
